How do I book an appointment?
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person, depending on the problem that they are presenting with. The number of sessions will usually be at least 6 sessions, a maximum of 20 sessions and an average of 12 sessions. Following your assessment session, we will estimate an approximate number of sessions that are likely to be needed.
What are your fees?
Assessment sessions and treatment sessions are between £90 and £120 for each session, dependent on which therapist you see.
We are covered by Bupa, Aviva, Vitality, Nuffield Health, Cigna and Axa-PPP and are open to registering with other insurers where possible.
What happens if I need to cancel an appointment?
The consulting room needs to be booked and paid for in advance, therefore at least 24 hours notice is required if a session needs to be cancelled.
Cancellations with less than 24hrs notice will be charged at half the hourly rate. Appointments that are not attended, without any prior notice, will be charged at the full rate.
Are the sessions confidential?
During your therapy sessions all information you share will be treated as confidential, unless there is an indication of any significant risk to yourself (e.g. self-harm, suicide attempts) or a risk to others. This will be discussed with you first and there may be a need that information is shared with the appropriate agencies, such as with your GP.
How can I pay for sessions?
All payments should be made within 24 hours of a session via bank transfer.
