Lucy Lurie
Lucy Lurie is a Registered Practitioner Psychologist with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC), having held registration since October 2014. She is a full member of the British Psychological Society and the Division of Forensic Psychology. She holds a BSc. (Hons) in Psychology, an MSc. in Forensic Psychology and an MSc. in Occupational Psychology.
Lucy has worked as a psychologist since April 2002 and currently works as the Head of Therapies for Vision Mental Health. She also undertakes private psychological work providing individual therapy sessions for clients with a variety of presenting difficulties and providing psychological assessments of clients and preparation of risk assessment reports. She has expertise in writing independent psychological reports for parole boards and case reviews, commissioned via solicitors and presenting as an expert witness at oral hearings.
Lucy has over 19 years of experience working within the occupational, forensic, and clinical fields and within mental health through her work within the prison service, forensic adolescent community team, secure units and inpatient mental health. She has worked with a variety of clients, both non-forensic and forensic, delivering a range of full risk assessments, psychological assessments and delivering a number of therapeutic interventions. She is trained in and delivers a number of therapies including DBT, MBT, CBT, CFT and EMDR.
Lucy has a specialist interest and expertise in trauma, the development of personality traits and in the assessment and treatment of personality disorders. Lucy is trained in conducting psychometric assessments (ability and personality) for a wide variety of clients in both the clinical field and also the business field. She also specialises in the impact of trauma, attachment disorders, the diagnosis of personality disorder and the treatment of personality disorder.
Fees for sessions with Lucy:
If you are self-paying for therapy sessions, the standard fee for an initial consultation or individual therapy session is £120.
Lucy is registered with Bupa, AXA, Aviva and Vitality.
